If you are familiar with the Mister Smith’s Letter Recognition Program (uppercase) you will notice that some of the letter techniques have not changed because the letters look exactly the same. There are 14 easy letters that are marked with * and 6 medium letters that are marked with **. The last 6 are the most difficult *** because they are the most similar therefore confusing and directionality needs to be taken into consideration when teaching these letters. easy *c, f, i, j, k, m, o, s, u, v, w, x, y, z medium **a, h, l, n, r, t more difficult ***b, d, e, g, p, q
